NEW YORK– May 13, 2019 – Marino – a New York City-based strategic communications firm – today announced that Sam Goldstein has joined the agency as Director of Land Use and Public Policy.

Goldstein brings to Marino more than a decade of professional experience in government relations, public affairs and political campaigns, most recently having cultivated deep relationships and expertise in the aviation industry as a founder of the Helicopter Tourism & Jobs Council, an advocacy organization that represents the Air Tour industry in New York City.  

A veteran of dozens of political campaigns, Goldstein previously served for over five years as the director of government relations for Selfhelp Community Services, one of New York’s largest senior housing and social service organizations. Recently, he was a principle at Kivvit Public Affairs and has advised start-ups, not for profits, and Fortune 500 companies on dealings with local governments. Goldstein is also on the Board of Directors of Saker Aviation, a publicly traded company.

Goldstein is a graduate of The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
