Nick Derasmo Joins Marino as Senior Vice President and Co-Lead of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice
NEW YORK, NY – April 12, 2021 – Marino, a leading strategic communications firm with offices in New York City and Los Angeles, today announced that Nick Derasmo has joined as Senior Vice President. He will partner with Elizabeth Latino, Senior Vice President, to co-lead and further grow Marino’s award-winning real estate practice. Since the firm’s founding over 25 years ago, its roster of real estate clients have included Jamestown, VTS, One World Trade Center, Cushman & Wakefield, REBNY, The Moinian Group and more.
Derasmo brings more than 15 years of strategic communications experience in both agency and in-house roles, working with leading national and international companies in the real estate, development and construction industries. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Communications Manager, Commercial Banking for JPMorgan Chase, where he managed external communications for the firm’s commercial real estate group. Prior to that, he held leading communications roles at RXR Realty and Skanska, and spent more than six years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as the head of communications for the Tri-State Region.

Derasmo earned his master’s degree in public relations from Iona College and bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from the State University of New York at Albany. He resides in Port Washington, NY with his wife and two children.
