Marino Promotes Andrew Zimmer to Vice President, Digital & Integrated Strategy
NEW YORK, NY – August 21, 2020 – Marino, a leading strategic communications firm with offices in New York City and Los Angeles, today announced that Andrew Zimmer has been promoted to Vice President, Digital & Integrated Strategy.
Zimmer, who joined Marino in January 2019 as a Director of Digital Strategy, has overseen the expansion of the firm’s digital capabilities, providing counsel and strategic planning to a diverse array of clients and broadening the firm’s creative and digital offerings. Zimmer has spearheaded national digital advertising campaigns and micro-targeted issue-based campaigns, in addition to establishing scalable processes and best practices for the firm’s digital unit.

With more than a decade of experience in media and marketing, Zimmer, in his new role, will be tasked with further expanding and refining the social and digital strategies offered by the firm, including more robust paid social and digital advertising efforts.
Prior to joining Marino, he served as Director of Content and Social Strategy at Blue Man Group, where he led the creation of their digital content and helped grow the group’s social media audiences. His previous roles include serving as Editorial Director at Thrillist and as the Deputy Editor at Time Out New York.
Zimmer earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Williams College.
