Marino Senior Vice President Jordan Isenstadt Appointed to National Cannabis Industry Association Board of Directors

NEW YORK, NYApril 6, 2026Marino, a leading national strategic communications firm based in New York City with offices in Los Angeles and Miami, today announced that Senior Vice President Jordan Isenstadt has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) for the 2026–2028 term. He was also elected as Secretary of the Board for this term.

Isenstadt currently leads Marino’s Cannabis, Psychedelics & Emerging Industries practice, which he built from the ground up nearly a decade ago. Under his leadership, the practice has grown into a nationally recognized group advising multi-state operators, ancillary technology companies, advocacy organizations, dispensary operators, and emerging brands navigating complex regulatory environments.

Before entering the cannabis sector, Isenstadt spent more than a decade working in government, serving in multiple roles for elected officials and developing a deep understanding of legislative process, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement. That policy foundation has shaped his approach to cannabis communications — blending public affairs, media strategy, and long-term narrative building in a federally prohibited industry.

“Policy has always been the throughline for me,” said Isenstadt. “After more than a decade in government, I got involved in the cannabis movement at a time when the industry needed serious engagement and thoughtful advocacy. Over the last ten years at Marino, we’ve helped build companies, launch dispensaries, support trade associations, and shape public conversations across the country. Serving on the NCIA Board is an opportunity to contribute to the national strategy at a pivotal moment.”

The NCIA Board of Directors represents leaders from across the legal cannabis ecosystem and plays a central role in shaping the organization’s advocacy priorities, governance, and long-term direction. As Secretary, Isenstadt will support the Board’s governance and operational effectiveness, helping to guide meeting cadence, maintain institutional continuity, and ensure alignment between the association’s strategic priorities and its advocacy execution.

“Jordan built Marino’s cannabis practice from the ground up and helped position the firm at the forefront of one of the country’s most complex and rapidly evolving industries,” said John F. Marino, President of Marino. “His policy background and strategic approach to communications make him a natural fit for the NCIA Board.”

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Jordan over the years and have seen firsthand the strategic lens he brings to industry challenges,” said Adam Rosenberg, Chairman of the NCIA Board of Directors. “He understands how policy, business realities, and public perception intersect. That perspective will be valuable as we continue strengthening the association’s voice and advancing the priorities of our members nationwide.”

The appointment further reinforces Marino’s position as a leading communications firm for cannabis, psychedelics, and emerging regulated industries operating at the intersection of business and policy.
