Marino Expands to Boston
Office will serve as hub for New England region
BOSTON, August 4, 2015 – The Marino Organization (TMO), a New York City-based full-service strategic communications firm, today announced the opening of its first satellite office, located in downtown Boston. The new office, at One International Place, will serve as the hub for the agency’s Boston area clients, as well as an outpost for TMO’s existing clients who have a New England presence.
Headquartered on Madison Avenue for over 20 years, TMO has represented well in excess of 300 clients since its founding, comprising a diverse base of organizations that spans Fortune 10 companies, renowned institutions of higher education, all sectors of the real estate industry, neighborhoods, leading industry associations, consumer entities and not-for-profits, among others.
“While it’s true that today more than ever, virtual and remote access can put you almost anywhere, nothing replaces the personal touch of a team on the ground in a local market. Given our existing client base, especially in real estate, higher education and energy, opening an office in Boston makes an infinite amount of sense,” said Frank Marino, TMO’s president and CEO. “We intend to grow our presence from here to several other cities over the next year. We want New England and other parts of the nation to see and experience the Marino difference in strategic communications.”
The Marino Organization offers a complete range of communications services – including media relations, strategic counsel, digital and social media, public affairs, community relations, corporate communications, integrated marketing and event management – that have helped the firm serve a variety of clients across a broad spectrum of industries over more than two decades, including New York University, Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield, ConEdison Solutions, National Grid, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation, Walmart, New York Medical College, McDonald’s, American Friends of Tel Aviv University, and more.
The boutique style firm implements strategic plans in an intelligent, cost-effective manner with minimal overhead, individualized care, and day-to-day personalized attention. The firm is comprised of professionals who take pride in a strategic, aggressive and campaign-minded approach. The team is entirely results-oriented and believes success is measured in the firm’s clients achieving their business objectives.
“We see great potential for our firm in the Boston market,” said John Marino, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of TMO. “This new office presents us with the opportunity to serve new clients, as well as our existing clients that have a strong presence in the New England area. We’re excited that local businesses and organizations will now be able to benefit from our strategic communications services, and look forward to further expanding our operations in the future.”
Account Manager Megan Romano, who joined TMO in 2012, will play a key role in establishing the office and has relocated from New York. She can be reached at (617) 535-7585 or megan@themarino.org. The office address is 100 Oliver Street, Suite 1400, Boston, MA 02110.
