AP’s story run on June 11th, titled “More wines coming out in support of gay marriage“, highlights the emerging trend of wine companies marketing products that support same sex marriage and LGBT causes.  These products not only send the message of equal rights on the label, but also donate to various organizations.

One such product, Egalite, has already donated over $15,000 to LGBT non-profit organizations selected by fans.  Egalite, French for “equality”, is a Burgundy cremant (sparkling wine) that launched in January of 2013.
