Laurain spearheads accounts primarily in the lifestyle, consumer and food & beverage space, serving Marino clients such as Chelsea Market, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, McDonalds New York Metro Region Owners/Operators Association, and Bono Extra Virgin Olive Oil. She brings more than a decade of experience in communications, media relations, press and consumer events, and strategic partnerships.
In addition to an extensive wine and spirits background, Laurain brings an expertise in product launch strategy, experiential events, and planning multifaceted national and international campaigns. Prior to joining Marino, she led multi-media content and communication strategies for the US campaigns of European wine bureaus, including the Bordeaux Wine Bureau, Graves-Sauternes, and Albarino Wines of Rías Biaxas. Before that, she led public relations strategies for global spirits brands including Rémy Martin and Hendrick’s Gin. Her fine-tuned pitching and media relations skills have resulted in print and digital coverage for clients in outlets including The New York Times, Newsweek, Robb Report, Food & Wine, and Town & Country, among others.
A New York native, Laurain has also lived and studied in Rome, Italy and holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and English from the University of Rhode Island.
